217 Second Street was purchased in 2007. This building was formally a printing warehouse and required a complete renovation. Construction included a full seismic upgrade, all new electrical and plumbing, and a new passenger elevator. Many layers of paint were painstakingly removed to expose the original brick. A full rooftop deck with amazing views completes this five story building which has been the home to many start-ups and is now the headquarters for the famed George P. Johnson Co.
